Our day at the farm

here you go Bonnie.

This is going to be short and sweet. I am tired. Bonnie has been hounding me for the last 3 weeks to come and update my blog. So here I am. Consider it updated.

I am now teaching playschool and babysitting. Needless to say I have been super busy. Add to that the fact that the girls got sick again, Colin is still combining and Emily decided to bring lice home from school and I have definitely been kept "on my toes" so to speak. I am still trying to catch up on housework and laundry from the lice episode. Let me tell you if you ever want to clean out your house in a hurry get lice. You automatically throw everything that is cloth, looks like cloth or could possibly be related to cloth in the basement to be washed. Then you use a whole bottle of Lysol spraying down anything that is too big to fit down the laundry shut. The lice letters get sent home at least once a month. You know the ones that say "we regret to inform you that there has been another case of head lice in the school............" they then go on to tell you what to look for and how to treat it. Well I have always thrown the letter out with a laugh thinking my child will never get lice. That only happens to other people. Well folks I am here to tell you that it most certainly can and will happen to anyone. Just when you are least expecting it you will find one and then you will spend the next 24 hours armed with a bottle of Lysol, a nit comb and some lice shampoo. While your children run away from you screaming "no mom they are gone please don't wash me again!"

On the up side my house smells really clean now.
