A day of fun.

Well I found my house. Or at least parts of it. The bathroom is now clean and the kitchen is livable. Colin was so proud of himself for fashioning a swiffer pad that I could no longer be upset with him. When I mentioned it he got that "cat that ate the canary" type look. So i was a nice wife and told him I loved him and that he did a good job. It pained me to do so but I did it. I just blocked out the fact that it took me 2 hours to clean the kitchen and wash the floor and smiled at him. Besides he did take Emily to her ski trip and they had a blast.

Emily had a great time skiing and was apparently skiing like a little pro by the afternoon. Colin has decided that we should go skiing every year now. He was so excited that I didn't have the heart to tell him I don't ski. Not because I don't like it but because I just can't I fall. Not once but EVERY time I stand up. When I fall i break things just ask my parents they know what happens when I fall. It isn't pretty. I think I have spent 3 years of my life in some sort of a cast or on crutches or in a sling. I have enough trouble standing on my own feet never mind with slippery things trapped on. So no I will not be skiing. I am more of the sit in the lodge by the fire reading a book kind of skier.Emily already skis better than me, she only had one accident all day so that was better than I would have done. She fell and tried to use her face to stop. It didn't work out so well. Apparently she only sat for 20 minutes after her fall and then got up and went again. I am going to try to figure out how to post videos here so you can all see.

Today will be more cleaning because there was no way that I could clean the whole house yesterday. Also I will be doing more laundry since yesterday my wonderful cat decided to pee on my bed. Let me tell you how impressed I was. After the cat peed on the bed the dog pooped on the floor. It was a great day I tell you. Needless to say the cat spent the day locked in the basement with his litter box and food and the dog spent the day in the bathroom with his food. They both got released from there solitary confinement in the evening and proceeded to chase each other around and run over the baby.

Isabelle seems to be feeling a bit better and the river of boogers has slowed down some thank goodness. She still has a nasty cough but she is on antibiotics so hopefully that will fix that. Well I am going back to cleaning I guess that is my duty for the day. Fun times I tell you, fun times.
